An Interior Wonderland at Eaton Place by Fenton Whelan
Eaton Place, one of the grandest streets in London’s historical Belgravia area, is no stranger to the wonders of luxury. So, when Fenton Whelan took on the re-design of two landmark buildings located at 15-17 Eaton Place, they followed suit and created a luxurious interior wonderland. Fenton Whelan’s masterfully talented Creative Director Desariot Ademaj and his design team carefully and meticulously designed the space using gorgeous finishes and exquisite designer furniture throughout the buildings’ opulent Penthouse and Garden Apartment.
A Historical Building
During the re-design, the bones of the timeless and classic London architecture of Eaton Place, instilled by Thomas Cubitt in the 1820s, were kept intact whilst being combined with an exquisite and unique touch of class and extravagance. A perfect blend of contemporary and classical styles was input to reflect the character of the building while creating an unmatched level of luxury and sophistication. The buildings’ historical allure combined with its proximity to the vibrant heart of London and the greenery of Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace Gardens, make Eaton Place a truly idyllic place to reside.
Incorporated in 2010 by Sanjay Sharma and James Van de Heule, Fenton Whelan vigilantly and flawlessly adds their signature touch of excellence to the property and design business. They possess a remarkable ability to combine worldwide leaders of interior design, architecture, and project management down to the minutest of details. Reflecting character and originality into their investments. Combining expertise and attention. International clientele and prestigious properties. These attributes are what make Fenton Whelan unparalleled.
15-17 Eaton Place
Whelan’s affinity for artistry and commitment to excellence in the realm of
designer furniture and high-quality finishes are showcased at Eaton Place. The
interior project follows an innovative and groundbreaking style which is
apparent in the overall design and in particular the close attention to scale
and brilliant use of finish materials.
The Garden Apartment
floor of 15-17 Eaton Place consists of a lavish Garden Apartment with an open-plan
living and kitchen area, tranquil dining area, two bedrooms with en suites. As
the apartment’s name suggests, a
beautiful garden featuring elegant landscaping, decorative planting and a
relaxing deck area with designer outdoor furniture completes the residence.
The crème de la crème, or the cherry on top, if you will, sits atop these magnificent buildings. With breathtaking views of central London, the Penthouse at Eaton Place stretches across the top three floors of the two-building complex. What more could one ask for in a world of prestige and class?
3rd Floor: The Bedrooms
The third floor (the Penthouse’s lowest level) consists of a master suite along with two additional spacious bedrooms. Each touched with ambition and quality designer furniture while maintaining a cozy feel. Walnut wardrobes and paneling, gorgeous marble, polished brass details, and champagne crystal accents beautifully adorn each room. And let’s not forget about the stunning leather and metal detailed doors of the guest bedroom wardrobes!
4th Floor: Living, Dining + Bedroom
On the fourth floor of the penthouse are the kitchen, living room, dining room, and an additional bedroom. Bamboo silk rugs and hand-blown glass chandeliers meet you with elegant sophistication when wandering into the opulent main living room. Two emerald velvet KOKET Vamp sofas and a bespoke feature wall with Daino Reale marble and sycamore veneer details and glass and metal shelves serves as a beautiful focal point in this majestic living area. Throughout this floor, Desariot Ademaj uses intimate wallpapers, antique accessories and details, and a variety of finishes; proving their attention to detail pays off in the most stunning of ways.
5th Floor: The Entertainment Suite
The fifth floor boasts an entertainment suite and sprawling terrace each adorned with luxury furniture and finishes. With a comfortable and dreamy setup, this floor serves as the ideal place to sit back and relax. In true form, Fenton Whelan thought of everything, from the underfloor heating up to the coffered ceilings with mood lighting. Sophisticated finishes delight, from dark stained black oak floors with antique bronze trim and American walnut doors with beveled bronze mirror inlay to bespoke reeded glass pendant lights and a custom bar area with a marble top. A lush masculine sofa is accented by the lovely KOKET Naomi chair’s feminine silhouette complimenting the rooms warm appeal.
Fenton Whelan has sincerely outdone themselves with yet another project of pure prestige!
